23 – 25 February 2024
The Palazzo Pisani Revedin Cultural Centre, founded in 2020 on the initiative of the Armenian cultural manager Samuel Baghdassarian, with its fascinating and spacious multifunctional exhibition halls, promotes artistic and cultural initiatives of various kinds, to promote culture in its many forms, starting with the ancient traditions and those of painting, literature and music.
Our knowledge and tradition in printing is centuries old and is part of the whole Armenian world that gave great impetus to Venetian printing. Antiquarian Armenian prints of Venice have a long history. In the past, the tradition of printing in Venice could be seen at the Printer's Museum on the beautiful island of San Lazzaro, right in Venice, the city that was the capital of printing in the 16th century.
The Palazzo Pisani Revedin Cultural Centre, in collaboration with ALAI, is pleased to organise for the second time, from 23 to 25 February, in the 300 square metres of the Palazzo Pisani Revedin, in the historic centre of Venice, an antiquarian book and printing fair entitled: Antiquarian Booksellers in Venice - Palazzo Pisani Revedin.
