Tom Post about the New York Antiquarian Book Fair
"Walking into the New York Antiquarian Book Fair in Manhattan’s Armory, you get a sense of what suicide bombers must feel when they enter paradise and start in on those 72 virgins. For a bibliopsycho, like me, this was paradise at its most varied and delectable. By the time you pass through the offerings of 200 dealers you have a really special appreciation of those jihadists: You’re so exhausted, you never want to sample the wares again—for at least a few hours."
