Murder and Mystery
A wonderful day, important decisions and bright perspectives for ILAB's future. A warm summer night in a Palazzo, beautiful people, pasta, dinner, champagne - and then, a cry:
MURDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The atmosphere at the dinner given to mark the start of the ILAB Congress on 20th Monday is tense. A group of unexpected and rather peculiar characters mingle among the dinner guests: members of rival families of the Italian nobility, an undercover detective in disguise, a wealthy heiress and unsuccessful starlet, a distinguished professor of the Pontifical University of the Vatican, and an absent-minded medium.
It's hard to imagine what common denominator could possibly unite the destinies of these dinner guests and that of the antiquarian booksellers as they become involved in a series of mysterious murders. They are drawn into a mind-boggling investigation, yet each of these persons is bound to the legend of an invaluable treasure which lies hidden between the lines of a 17th century manuscript whose traces have disappeared ...
The treasure was finally found at a very late (or very early) hour and the thief was caught. It was all a game, and the participants caught too few hours of sleep before the morning’s appointment at Piazza Nettuno.
