A second edition of the "ILAB Mentoring Programme Online Networking Talks" took place on 3 October with an audience from America, Australia, Asia and Europe. If you are a young or newly established bookseller, there is no geographical limit to advice and expertise.

The very concept of the ILAB Mentoring Programme is an exchange of knowledge that is not limited by location; it is the expertise and experience of the older generation that is most valuable to any bookseller new to the trade and expertise can be shared across borders.
Since 2016, ILAB has facilitated a mentoring initiative for young and newly established booksellers to be mentored by experienced colleagues in the rare book trade.

A series of online networking sessions was launched in 2023:
On 3 October 2023, ILAB invited US bookseller Lorne Bair to share some insights into the profession, what to look out for, what mistakes not to make, and, most importantly, how to build a successful business.
A recording of this engaging and uplifting session with an audience from around the world is now online and highly recommended.

The next session will take place on 21 November 2023 at 14:00 Berlin time (13:00 London time) with Dasa Pahor and Alexander Johnson.
