Kevin Mac Donnell has over thirty years of experience in the rare book field as a university rare book librarian, published bibliographer, appraiser, library consultant, and antiquarian bookseller. He is author of many articles on collecting, literature and the history of the book, for example on Mark Twain or The American Gift Book. Areas of specialty include first editions and autographs of Mark Twain, Henry David Thoreau, Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, the Brontes, Herman Melville, Walt Whitman, Edgar Allan Poe, Henry James, Emily Dickinson, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, and other major authors. Kevin Mac Donnell is member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA), the Bibliographical Society of America (BSA), the Bibliographical Society, London (BS), the Manuscript Society (MS) and an affiliate of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).
