Charles Agvent

Charles Agvent had worked in advertising, public relations and the publishing industry. He had taught at university and he had published poetry before he started his own rare book business. Since 1987 Charles Agvent has been buying and selling rare books, manuscripts, and autographs in a variety of fields. In the same year he became a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA).

Charles Agvent Rare Books & Autographs sells books from the 15th to the 21st century and has a large stock of signed books and autographs, literary first editions, African-American literature and history as well as fine press and illustrated books. In addition, the company the largest inventory of limited edition club books and ephemera in the world.
