The Marbach archive for German literature is one the most important institutions worldwide. The collection comprises the literary estates (autographs, manuscripts, first editions, translations) of German speaking authors, philosophers and linguistics. For example: Hermann Hesse, Ernst Jünger, Paul Celan, S. Fischer (Publisher).
