The Dutch Association of Antiquarian book dealers (NVvA) is pleased to announce the Amsterdam International Antiquarian Book Fair to be held on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2016. The newly elected book fair committee has developed a new concept with a new location in the heart of the book-loving city of Amsterdam. You are cordially invited to submit your application to register.

The Amsterdam Marriott Hotel has space for 40 ILAB associated antiquarian bookdealers to participate. This spectacular location in the centre of Amsterdam is a stone’s throw away from the recently reopened Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The Marriott is easily accessible for both exhibitors and visitors. The Amsterdam Book Fair is an eminently suitable occasion for Dutch and foreign antiquarian bookdealers to meet and to do business with each other. Amsterdam has many renowned antiquarian booksellers and small second-hand bookshops, so you can turn your visit into a working holiday. Happy hunting!

An extra incentive for our overseas colleagues is the fact that the Amsterdam Book Fair will be held a week after the ILAB congress and book fair in Budapest on 21st to 25th September. In short, you would be a mere two-hour flight away from what promises to be a very interesting book fair.

The application period closes on 1st June 2016.

Register now! We look forward to your visit!
