As Deborah Coltham Rare Books (DCRB) I am a specialist dealer in rare Antiquarian Medicine and Science Books.
I became a sole trader in 2006 after 10 years working for Pickering & Chatto. My aim is to stock rare and important books, together with occasional manuscripts and ephemeral items, in a range of scientific and medical subjects, primarily in first or early editions. An emphasis is placed on books of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, though this is not a rigid criterion of selection. Books by or about women in medicine and science are of particular appeal, with books relating to the history of ideas and the social sciences also of interest.

Sales Information
All items are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise stated. All items are offered subject to prior sale. Prices are nett in £ Sterling and do not include postage and packing. Invoices will be rendered in Pounds sterling unless otherwise requested. Payment in advance: sterling is preferred though I can accept euro or dollar checks at an agreed rate of exchange. At the moment I can only accept credit cards via paypal. My paypal account is deborah@coltham.co.uk. Bank details will be provided for wire or bank transfers after ordering, though please instruct your bank that all charges for the transfer (including those of my bank) are to be charged to your account and not deducted from the transfer. All goods remain the property of the seller until payment has been received in full. Any item may be returned within ten days of receipt, upon written confirmation.
