Milan, 26 March - ILAB Comittee members fill the first bookcase to support literacy!

A shining example: At their annual meeting in Milan members of the ILAB Committee donated 475 € from their private funds. This money alone will enable UNESCO to send 45 school book collections to South Sudan. Thank you very much to ILAB President Norbert Donhofer and his committee members for making such a generous donation to the UNESCO literacy projects in South Sudan and thereby making such a perfect start to the ILAB/UNESCO fundraising campaign!

ILAB President Norbert Donhofer handed over the money to ALAI President Fulvio Audibussio. On www.alai.it the Italian booksellers will be running an online fundraising for UNESCO from now up to 23 April!
