The Munich Digitisation Centre (MDZ) handles the digitisation and online publication of the cultural heritage preserved by the Bavarian State Library and by other institutions. It provides one of the largest and fastest growing digital collections in Germany, now comprising 148,774 titles available online. Access is free of charge!
Book History Online
An international bibliography of the history of the printing and the history of libraries, designed, managed, maintained and published by the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, National Library of the Netherlands, in co-operation with national committees in countries all over the world. It is based on the Annual Bibliography of the History of the printed Book and Libraries (ABHB), an annual book publication in collaboration with editors in more than 30 countries.

Bibliography of the History of Printing in Germany 1840 - 1980, published by the Herzog August Bibliothek Wolfenbüttel (Germany) which is famous for its collection of 17th and 18th century printings. The library was founded by Herzog August (1579-1666), Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and Gotthold Ephraim Lessing were librarians in Wolfenbüttel.
