We are Luca Cena and Elsie Deferre, we began our adventure in the world of books and antique prints in 1985 when Elsie together with Roberto Cena opened the Libreria Antiquaria Il Cartiglio in Turin. In 2019 we embarked on a new adventure by opening White Lands Rare Books.
A new antiquarian bookshop located in an old aristocratic palace in the heart of Turin, one of the most renowned cities in the book business.
We are members of ILAB (International League of Antiquarian Booksellers) and ALAI (Associazione Librai Antiquari d'Italia).
We regularly participate as exhibitors at the best international antiquarian book fairs: New York, London, Amsterdam and Milan are our regular appointments.
