Mr. Luca Pozzi, the owner of the bookshop, is the heir to three generations of antiquarian booksellers and carries out the activity together with his son Giacomo.
The Libreria Antiquaria Mediolanum was founded in 1925 and has always dealt with all that concerns the written word: today its stock consists of about 20 thousand books, from the most ancient of manuscripts, to incunabula, works of great printers (Manuzio, Bodoni, Mardersteig), science books, fine illustrated books from the 15th to the 19th century, atlases, geographical and travel books, economy, first editions and also 20th century works. Decorative prints, city views and antique maps, particularly fine rare cartography, can also be found.
The Libreria Antiquaria Mediolanum is located in an internal court at 1, via del Carmine, in a small 18th century building in the heart of Milan, close to the famous Brera Pinacoteca and Library, near the Scala theatre and the most known streets of Milan (via Manzoni, Montenapoleone, Spiga). The environment is peaceful and quiet to give customers and visitors the possibility to find and choose a book or look for references at their complete ease.
