We are a family run shop that has served book lovers for close to fifty years. We recently moved to larger quarters in Dade City - a town in central west Florida, just north of Tampa, known for its turn-of-the-century hometown charm, "mom & pop" shops, and comfortable cafes. There, we are located at the corners of Church Avenue and 5th Street: 14046 5th Street, Dade City, Florida 33525.

We have an inventory of around 100,000 volumes (only about 5% are listed online). We specialize in books of a scholarly nature, particularly Florida History, Americana, and military history, but carry a broad range of general antiquarian books, used/secondhand books, and a small gallery of prints and maps.

We offer certified appraisal services, and are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America, The International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, and the Florida Antiquarian Booksellers' Association.

The proprietor, Michael F. Slicker, is one of about 450 qualified members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America, Inc., and its affiliate the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. He was also the founding president of the the Florida Antiquarian Booksellers Association and is still an active member and committee chairman. Slicker has served as Chair of the Florida Antiquarian Book Fair since its inception, more than forty-three years ago; the Fair is the largest and longest running of its kind in the Southeastern United States.

Please contact us for more information regarding our certified appraisal services.
