Map of Fugitive Materials

Fugitive Materials is committed to the preservation and circulation of radical, lesser-known, and alternative histories through archiving, bookselling, and publishing. Our work focuses on the intersection of art and activism as well as queer, underground, oppositional, and non-Western histories. We place archives, artifacts, and ephemera with museums and universities around the world. We find unusual books, periodicals and ephemera and locate rare and out-of-print publications. We have a deep inventory of books and ephemera that have not yet been made available on our website, so please let us know if there are specific subjects you're looking to build on or artifacts for which you're searching within our broader specialties. We also travel widely for new acquisitions and archival consultations, so don't hesitate to be in touch if you are interested in selling or consigning with us. To schedule an appointment, or with any other questions, please email info@fugitivematerials.com.
