Brad Johnson - New President of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America
Mr. Johnson takes over from San Francisco based bookseller Vic Zoschak of Tavistock Books.
Brad and Jennifer Johnson are well known in the US but also international bookselling community, also as organisers of the ILAB Congress in Los Angeles, Pasadena in 2018 and their active role in the American association and book fairs.
johnson rare books & archives (previously The Book Shop), a bricks and mortar bookshop, is located in the heart of downtown Covina, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles.
"The Hollywood sign looms large over Los Angeles. However, despite its close association with the motion picture industry, the enduring promise and dark undercurrents of America's first postmodern city are best understood through its prose and poetry."
