The list shows a number of major works on polar expeditions by Roald Amundsen, Lincoln Ellsworth, Richard Evelyn Bird, Elisha Kent Kane, Fridtjof Nansen, James Clark Ross, Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Henry Shackleton, including translations from the original language of other important authors.
