Export:

Books, Manuscripts, Maps and Prints are free of customs duty. If the export is proven by the Swiss customs authorities, no V.A.T. is charged to the exporting firm in Switzerland. No export licenses are required.

Import:

Importation of printed Books, Manuscripts, Maps and Prints are free of customs duty, but all items are charged with V.A.T. at the importation.

Printed Books are charged V.A.T. at 2,5%

Manuscripts, Maps and Prints are charged V.A.T. at 8%
