« L'Imitation de Jésus Christ » is certainly one of the most popular and most read books after the Bible, from the end of Middle Ages up to the present. Conceived as a bibliography this joint catalogue edited by Martine Delaveau and Yann Sordet provides scholars and bibliophiles with a most detailed description of all editions before the year 1800 from the famous collections of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France and the Libraries of Sainte-Geneviève, Mazarine and the Sorbonne.
Martine Delaveau and Yann Sordet will be officially honoured with the SLAM Bibliography Prize during the Paris International Antiquarian Book Fair at the Grand Palais on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
