The latest edition of the ILAB Newsletter has just been printed and circulated to all ILAB affiliates.

A warm welcome by the new ILAB President, Gonzalo F. Pontes; looking back at the ILAB congress in Budapest and introducing the new ILAB committee; entertaining accounts from some of our youngest booksellers in the trade who received a scholarship to join the congress "I was the youngest dealer at the 42nd ILAB Congress" by Gaelle Cambon and "Budapest" by Anke Timmermann.

ILAB recently launched a new Mentoring Programme and is asking its affiliates, whether old or young, new bookseller or established firm, to join the programme and support each other to ensure stability and the future of our trade!

While ILAB booksellers were gathering in Budapest, well known bookseller Bob Fleck died on 22 September 2016 after a short but agressive illness. He will be missed by many in the trade and we send our condolences to his family, his friends and his team at Oak Knoll.
