ALL ITEMS are subject to prior sale. Items may be reserved by telephone, fax, or e-mail. Available items will be held for 7 days pending receipt of payment or submission of credit account details. To help us identify your requested items, your inquiry/order should include the item identification number, as well as author, title, and list price. REMITTANCE: Payment by check or money order in U.S. funds should accompany your order, institutions excepted. Institutions may receive deferred billing upon request. SALES TAX: New York State residents should remit appropriate sales tax for their tax district. The tax should be calculated on the total purchase price, including postage charges. Tax exempt New York State booksellers must supply a valid Resale Certificate with their identification number, or the appropriate tax for their district will be added to the purchase price. PURCHASES MAY BE CHARGED: We offer services of two major credit card systems: VISA and MASTERCARD. If you wish to use either of these cards to make purchases via mail, telephone, fax, or e-mail please provide the following data at the time of your order: (1) the name of the cardholder exactly as it appears on your card, (2) your card number, and (3) the expiration date of your card. All credit card sales are subject to ADDRESS VERIFICATION. If the ship to address differs from the cardholder billing address, we MUST have the billing address for card. Your order may be delayed if we do not receive this information at the time of your order. SHIPPING: Cost of shipment is charged on all orders. Standard shipping charges are: Delivery to destinations within the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA by United States Postal Service: MEDIA MAIL, $4 for the first book, and $2 for each additional book; PRIORITY MAIL, $10 for the 1st book, and $5 for each additional book. For higher level service, please inquire. Delivery to destinations within the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (excluding ALASKA and HAWAII) by United Parcel Service: STANDARD GROUND, $15 for the first book, and $5 for each additional book; THREE DAY SELECT, $30 for the 1st book, and $10 for each additional book. For higher level service, please inquire. Delivery to destinations in CANADA by United States Postal Service: FIRST CLASS, $16.50 for the 1st book, and $8 for each additional book. For higher level service, please inquire. Delivery to destinations in counties other than the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA or CANADA by United States Postal Service (ALL rates are for shipping by AIR; surface rates are no longer offered by USPS): PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL, $23.95 for flat-rate envelope for small books; 59.95 for flat-rate medium-size box and $9 for each additional book; 1st CLASS INTERNATIONAL, $23.95 for the first book, $14 for each additional book (shipments weighing over four pounds must be sent by PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL). Small paperbacks and magazines may be sent by 1st class mail internationally for $11 for the first item and $4 for each additional one. If insurance for an international shipment is required, it must be sent by PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL at additional cost. For higher level service, please inquire. PLEASE INDICATE YOUR SHIPPING PREFERENCE AT THE TIME OF YOUR ORDER. If you want insurance for merchandise sent by U.S. Postal Service, please ask. Uninsured parcels are sent at the buyer's risk. Insurance is extra and will be charged at cost. DISCOUNTS: With the exception of booksellers who are members of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America or are booksellers with whom we have reciprocal trade arrangements, prices are net to all.
