The ILAB and SLAM committees are very pleased to announce that the 2014 ILAB Congress will run in Paris from the 13th to 16th April, 2014, to coincide with the 100th anniversary of SLAM.
The Paris Congress will immediately follow the International Antiquarian Book Fair at the Grand Palais scheduled from 10th to 13th of April.
The very special program will attract numerous visitors to Paris. It will show magnificent libraries and marvellous collections in the France capital which belongs to the most beautiful cities and most important book capitals of the world.

The Paris Fair, in this year's edition the 25th ILAB International Antiquarian Book Fair, offers its ever increasing number of visitors a panorama of the highlights of our written heritage, together with a vast selection of engravings and drawings, presented by leading professionals from around the world. Manuscripts, incunabula, exceptional bindings, early maps and photographs, autographs, old and contemporary prints and drawings, provide a fascinating potpourri of works for the collector and neophyte alike.
Nearly two hundred national and international dealers unveil thousands of exceptional documents, representatives of our cultural history. Various exhibitions and animations are also scheduled during the event. Following our 2013 guest-library – that of the Natural History Museum – we are pleased to announce the presence in 2014 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archives. The Print and Photography department of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, will also be present, together with our popular stand dedicated to introducing new-comers to the antiquarian book world with a range of attractively priced books, daily guided tours, concerts and conferences… A rich programme guaranteed to charm the visitor to the fabulous glass-domed Grand-Palais, in 2014, centenary year of the Syndicat national de la Librairie Ancienne et Moderne.
