A Digital Library of 18th and 19th Century, a joint project by the Universities of Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford. The core collection contains: Gentleman’s Magazine (1731 ff., people, places and events, news summaries, parliamentary reports, biographies and obituary notices, poems, essays, current publications), The Annual Register (1758 ff., an annual survey of European and world events from a British perspective), Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society (1660 ff.), Notes and Queries (1849 ff., "a medium of intercommunication for literary men, artists, antiquaries, genealogists”), The Builder (1843 ff., accounts of new buildings, materials, processes, books, and articles on ancient monuments and other historic buildings), Blackwood’s Edinburgh Magazine (1817 ff., a medium for imaginative literature, English poetry, essays and prose fiction)
