The International Antiquarian Book Fair becomes The International Rare Book & Autograph Fair, to reflect its evolution over the years.
One of the most prestigious fairs of its kind in the world, this annual event attracts both collectors and the curious.
The Paris Fair offers its ever increasing number of visitors a panorama of the highlights of our written heritage, together with a vast selection of engravings and drawings, presented by leading professionals from around the world. Manuscripts, incunabula, exceptional bindings, early maps and photographs, autographs, old and contemporary prints and drawings, provide a fascinating pot-pourri of works for the collector and neophyte alike.
Nearly two hundred national and international dealers unveil thousands of exceptional documents, representative of our cultural history. Various exhibitions and animations are also scheduled during the event. Following our 2014 guest-library - that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Archives - we are pleased to announce the presence in 2015 of the Archives of the Paris Prefecture of Police, which has holdings dating back to 15th century. The Print and Photography department of the Bibliothèque nationale de France, will also be present, together with our popular stand dedicated to introducing new-comers to the antiquarian book world with a range of attractively priced books, daily guided tours, concerts … A rich programme guaranteed to charm the visitor to the fabulous glass-domed Grand-Palais.
