Landmarks in Printing: from origins to the digital age

decoration13 Nov. 2014|14 Nov. 2014

The Printing Historical Society celebrates its 50th anniversary with several events, foremost of which is a two-day conference on Landmarks in Printing: from origins to the digital age. An international line-up of speakers will present papers covering all aspects of the art and craft of printing, including its aesthetic, cultural, practical and technical achievements.
A number of other activities will run alongside the conference: an exhibition of the Society’s publications, demonstrations of historical printing methods, book-launch, and a special evening lecture by Professor Michael Twyman.
