decoration27 June 2017
Kedem Auction House was established in 2008 by Meron Eren and Avishai Galer. As the company’s co-founders and co-managers, both partners have been involved in the purchase and sale of antique Jewish books and manuscripts, and ancient Jewish artifacts for several years. Combining their experience and expertise, Avishai specializes in religious books (“Sifrei Kodesh”) and rabbinical manuscripts, while Meron focuses on items related to Jewish and Israeli history and culture.
This catalog, published on the centennial of the Balfour Declaration and the Jubilee of the Six Day War, features many items related to the Jewish-Arab conflict and everyday life in Palestine's mixed-population cities.
The catalog also features six unknown photographs of the visit of Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini to Germany in 1943, an unknown passport photo of Mordechai Anielewicz and items from WWII period.

Another chapter in the catalog features dozens of posters and children's books, rare Templar tokens and hundreds of other items related to the history of the Jewish People and to Palestine.
