decoration11 Sept. 2015|11 Sept. 2016

Travelling exhibition celebrating 400 years of Rosicrucian Manifestoes.  After exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland, the show will open in the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica on 11 September 2015. The exhibition focuses on the visual language of the Roscrucion Manifestoes in the 17th century, presenting  the works of Heinrich Khunrath, Daniel Mögling, Robert Fludd, Michael Maier and Stephan Michelspacher. Further treasures on display are a copy of the rare Dutch translation of the first Rosicrucian Manifesto, the Fama Fraternitatis (1615).

The exhibition will be officially opened on 11 September 2015 by Prof. Dr. Henk Woldring, professor of political philosophy and author of the book "Jan Amos Comenius. Zijn leven, missie en erfenis", as the new exhibition will also pay attention to Jan Amos Comenius showing, among others, a portrait of Comenius copied after Rembrandt.

Exhibition catalogues in Dutch, English and German are available.
