Bristol Premier Book Fair

decoration15 July 2016|16 July 2016

The Bristol Antiquarian Book Fair is new and remarkable in many ways. There has been unprecedented co-operation between the two largest trade associations, the Provincial Booksellers' Fairs Association and the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association, to stage a fair that offers their respective memberships the opportunity to exhibit all together in one large, imposing venue with an important architectural pedigree. This inaugural year will see around 130 exhibitors on one floor and under one roof - the biggest gathering yet seen in the West Country, and the third largest in the UK.

The venue is an architectural icon and a  Bristol landmark building designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and is perfect for the return of the quality book fair to Bristol after many years. It has comprehensive rail, air and road links right to its door and has provided a perfect opportunity for us to stage not just a prestigious book fair, but also to make it more of an event, with good food, a bar and entertainment.
