decoration26 July 2013|28 July 2013
As a part of Melbourne Rare Book Week, the Australian and New Zealand Association of Antiquarian Booksellers (ANZAAB) proudly presents The 40th ANZAAB Australian Antiquarian Book Fair (Melbourne Rare Book Fair). Leading Australian and international antiquarian booksellers will bring a rich and diverse array of books together that cater for all who genuinely love print on paper and who share a passion for books. Subjects including early printed books, maps, historical accounts of travel and exploration, prints, literature, art, militaria, children's books, and ephemera will be offered for sale at prices to suit all levels of collecting. Whether you already have your own personal library or would like to explore the world of book collecting, this is your opportunity to explore the world of books with experts in their fields.

The biennial University of Melbourne Cultural Treasures Festival is a free program of exhibitions, thematic walks, talks and seminars, demonstrations and displays, and guided tours which showcase the University's rich array of museums and collections. In the week leading up to the combined Book Fair and Cultural Treasures Festival ANZAAB will join with Victorian libraries, literary entities and the City of Melbourne to present the inaugural Melbourne Rare Book Week (July 20 to 29) - an informative and entertaining celebration of books and the joys of collecting - in keeping with Melbourne's designation as a UNESCO City of Literature.
