London Rare Books School 2020 – Postponed

The next edition will sadly only take place in 2021.
Published on 31 March 2020

The Antiquarian Booksellers Association has announced the following message from the Rare Book School London:

“The Institute of English Studies and the School of Advanced Study have made the difficult decision to postpone the London Rare Books School until 2021. We have made this decision in response to the evolving global public health challenge caused by COVID-19, and are following government advice about avoiding large gatherings of people. We don’t want anyone (tutors or students) to feel uncomfortable about travelling or attending. We are also aware of the global travel restrictions currently in place, and we want to ensure all of our international attendees are able to join us. We do hope to preserve as much of the 2020 programme as possible for 2021. As soon as the school has been rearranged, we will be in touch by email to invite attendees to re-register. We have notified tutors and attendees today.”

See you in 2021!
